Last year, the Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio Council and Children’s Fund of San Bernardino raised 285 toys for needy boys and girls.
Together for a second year, our Council will join forces with Children’s Fund Annual Celebration of Giving Campaign to collect toys and gifts for the underprivileged children in our communities.
We’ll take on the task of collecting new, unwrapped toys from all around their communities to deliver to the Children’s Fund. The toys are collected, sorted and distributed to needy communities throughout the Inland Empire.
Last year, the first delivery in December netted more than 250 gifts and toys. It was a heartwarming scene to see our Girl Scouts sort through carts of overflowing with toys while beaming with joy.
We will be collecting new, unwrapped toys or gifts valued at $10 or more from Nov. 4 to Dec. 12, 2014. Gifts for both boys and girls, between the ages of 5 to 18, are appreciated. Donation bins are located at our Redlands location. However, you can drop off a gift to any of our service center locations.
