Girl Scouts Gold Award Winner: ‘I don’t want to be an Eagle Scout’

We learned in Girl Scouts to camp and sail and canoe and tie knots. We learned budgeting through cookie sales and leadership through volunteering. Six of my fellow troop members earned Gold Awards as well. Today, they are pediatricians, journalists and veterinarians.
