We learned in Girl Scouts to camp and sail and canoe and tie knots. We learned budgeting through cookie sales and leadership through volunteering. Six of my fellow troop members earned Gold Awards as well. Today, they are pediatricians, journalists and veterinarians. GSSGC Celebrates 46 Recipients at 100th Anniversary of the Gold Award
