On the weekend of May 5th, I attended the 2018 United State of Women Summit as a Girl Reporter for the Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio Council. In this video are interviews with women leaders at the summit and an empowering interview with former First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama.
The United State of Women is a national organization dedicated to empowering women to survive and thrive by working together to create a better America, removing the remaining barriers for full equality for women. I am excited to learn of the actions that will be accomplished this year and I look forward to next year’s summit where we can celebrate in our victories.
