In the summer of 2017, I attended a Startup Weekend event hosted by the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles. After that amazing experience,  I decided that the Girl Scouts in my own council should know about and participate in Startup Weekend. I shared my opinions and ideas with Mrs. Carrie and she quickly brought the ideas to life. Mrs. Carrie contacted Techstars about holding this event for our council and Startup Weekend sent us Miss Dee, all the way from South Carolina. Dee was so helpful, amazing and inspirational to all of us. Startup Weekend was full of fun, business and teamwork. The event was held from January 13-14, an overnight event, at GSSGC Temecula office and was filled with awesome Girl Scouts, camp counselors, mentors, judges and fantastic swag.
