The Camps Department is proud to introduce you to our two Social Media and Marketing interns Jordan and Aarie! These young ladies are busily editing and uploading photos of happy campers to our Bunk1 system and creating fun camp content just for you! If you happen to see them around, please say “hello.”

There’s a good chance you’ve already met our two summer interns at many of our events. They’re both bright, intelligent and true to upholding the Girl Scout mission.

Get to know Jordan and Aarie!

Jordan is a full Presidential Scholar at San Diego State University. She is also a graduate of Middle College High School Class of 2016, along with San Bernardino Valley College Class of 2016. Jordan graduated at the top of her class with a 4.47 GPA.

During high school Jordan completed her Associates of Arts degree in the social sciences. She founded and presided over the Black Student Union in high school, her Junior year she was elected president of Black Student Union of Southern California which governs over 50 high schools in five counties. Jordan was in yearbook her last two years of high school.

Jordan loves music, she listens to all genres! Some of her favorite things to do are to go to concerts, shop, hang out with friends and family, and make Sound Cloud playlists. Jordan also was a Girl Scout and her favorite cookies are the Lemonades.

Aariella is very happy, energetic, and outgoing. She is a part of the California Scholarship Federation and National Honors Society at her current high school. She enjoys eating chicken tenders and french fries on a regular basis.

She aspires to be a mom to a baby turtle named Cantaloupe in the near future. Aariella enjoys shopping for clothes and shoes at local stores such as Brandy Melville, Marshalls, Pink, and Nike. Not only does she shop at clothing/shoe stores but she also enjoys shopping at Hobby Lobby for art supplies.

Aarie finds joy in anything art, from painting abstract pieces to sculpting in ceramics. Aariella plans to be a chemical engineer after graduating from her dream college, Howard University, allowing her to pursue a career in a field of science and math, both of which she enjoys greatly. Aariella was a Girl Scout for four years and Caramel Delights are her favorite Girl Scout cookie.
