Now that the dust has settled (literally) at our new South West Service Center, please join us in welcoming Shelley Guerin to our GSSGC Family.

As Field Director for the Ramona area (Hemet, San Jacinto, Winchester) and Spirit of the Valley (Perris, Nuevo, Romoland, Homeland), Shelley will focus on recruiting new troops, retaining existing members and working with our volunteer teams.

Shelley joins us from the San Diego Council, where she worked for 16 years in a variety of positions, beginning as a receptionist and ultimately supporting girls and volunteers as a part of the membership team.

Working closely with her service area managers, Shelley’s goals include improving the volunteer experience and growing our membership.

Shelley says, “I love  Girl Scouts, because I’m passionate about our mission and know that I’m helping build leaders.  I’m proud to be working to make a difference in the world.”

Shelley hold a BA in human services and management.  She is a Lifetime Girl Scout and was a Girl Scout leader for her two girls. She resides in Temecula, where she enjoys spending time with her daughters and exploring her community.
