Longtime friend of Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio and former Board member Reita Dykes passed away in late November 2014 at the age of 86.  A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at the Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Avenue, Riverside.

A Girl Scout for nearly 80 years,  Reita dedicated her life to inspiring, encouraging and supporting girls.   She served for many years on our Board of Directors, was honored by GSSGC in 2013 with the Alumna Medallion and was the first GSSGC alumna to join the Juliette Gordon Low Society, whose members pledge legacy gifts to Girl Scouts.

I encourage volunteers, girls and alumnae of San Gorgonio Council to join me and Council staff in honoring Reita at her memorial service. If you have photos or mementos of Reita, you are encouraged to bring them along to share with everyone.
