Girl Scout Ashley unveils “freedom swing” in Wildomar tomorrow

Ashley Fox
Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio Council’s Ashley Fox will unveil the “freedom swing” for wheelchair users tomorrow in Wildomar.

People who use wheelchairs will soon be able to experience the joy of swinging at a Wildomar park, thanks to the efforts of 14-year-old Girl Scout Ashley Fox.

As part of her Silver Award Project, Ashley raised about $4,000 to purchase the “freedom swing,” which is designed to accommodate handicapped persons.

Ashley is a freshman cheerleader at Temescal Canyon High School and invites the public to join her in celebrating the installation tomorrow Saturday,  September 27 at 5:30pm in Marna O’Brien Park, 20505 Palomar St.

The event will include music, games, food and refreshments, too! Families can also enjoy a screening of the Disney movie Tangled at 8pm. Don’t miss out!

Please come and support fellow Girl Scout of San Gorgonio Council Ashley Fox tomorrow evening.  Her hard work and dedication to completing her Silver Award project should not be missed!

  1. Hello,
I have no problems with you using my image, but how about adding a link back to the story. I see that you’ve added a link to a PE story.

    Thanks
