Our very own 10-year old Ellie, a Girl Scout Cadette of Troop 838, has raised nearly $1,000 in donations for the I CARE program. She delivered cookies to the soldiers on April 22 and the Ft. Irwin Facebook posted her story on April 1, 2014.

Our favorite quote about Ellie from their blog is, “The Fort Irwin community and the Soldiers thank YOU for thinking of our service members and being “an awesome young lady!”  HOO-AH, Ellie!”

How awesome is that?

In total, Ellie donated 200 boxes of I Care Girl Scout cookies to Soldiers at Fort Irwin, as well as 24 boxes to the Helendale Fire Department and 12 boxes to the Helendale Senior Center.
