I love being a Girl Scout! During my years in Girl Scouts I have learned how to cook on a camp fire, how to sew, first aide, and how to sail. I have even visited a medical school and pretend be a med student. I like Girl Scouts because it’s the one place I can be myself and try out my crazy ideas. Being a girl is awesome and in Girl Scouts no one questions if you are as good as a boy, they

already believe you are the best and help you reach your goal. In Girl Scouts, girls can try any new thing and take any new adventure.
This past summer I started an accessories business using the skills I learned selling cookies. Just like with cookies, I created a plan and set goals. I sold at farmer’s markets and pitched placing my products in local boutiques. The business owners were impressed with my presentation and said that it was better than most grown ups. I am currently selling products in three area boutiques. It so cool that the skills I have learned selling cookies have helped me be successful in a business of my own.

This year in Girl Scouts, I am planning on traveling to San Francisco’s Golden Gate bridge to participate in a statewide bridging to Cadette. I am so excited because, I am planning on paying for it by myself with cookies, that helped my mom say yes. I love being a Girl Scout!
