Who Is Tatum?

Tatum’s love of music started at the young age of 5 when she began singing with the Terri Caldwell Music Program in Lubbock, Texas. Tatum became a member of the Cactus Cuties, Cactus Kiddos, Cactus Kids, Calico and Holly Avenue, an all girl foursome featured regularly at the Cactus Theater. Tatum was selected to perform on the infamous Ft. Worth Johnnie High Review at age 9. Tatum was cast in the 2009 National Tour of Oz, the Musical; and in 2010 was crowned Miss West Texas Outstanding Teen where she won a top vocalist award while competing for the title of Miss Texas’ Outstanding Teen in Arlington, TX. In 2011 Tatum received top five finalist for Four Points Magazine, “Make Me a Cover Model”. Summer of 2012 and 2013 Tatum performed for thousands on the big outdoor stage in Midland, TX for their city’s 4th of July celebration. She also love to perform and help lead the praise and worship at her home church, Rock City. Tatum has been writing music and recording her original compositions in Los Angeles with producer Brandon Jarrett of MOHO Productions and Joshua Danyel. December of 2012 she debuted her song, “You Won’t Have Me” at B.I.G. 2012 in Palm Springs, CA for the 100 year celebration of Girl Scouts of America and has been invited to perform again in January of 2014. Tatum also has original songs on ITunes, “Oxygen” and “Hey Boy”. Most recently, Tatum joined Bristi McHam, one of Holly Avenue to form the amazing country duet, Yellow House Canyon, who have been named top 40, top 10 groups in X Factor USA 2013. Tatum plans to continue writing and recording, following her dream. Tatum is the daughter of Brent and Liz Sheets of Lubbock, TX, and has two sisters, Whitney and Jordan.
